Prachatice had, prior to the Rani's arrival, been a barren land, craggy and dry. Slowly, she had begun to transform it into a lush paradise. It hadn't reached that stage yet, however. Right now, there were only the first sprigs of red plantlife beginning to grow underfoot, a few promising-looking, darker, larger sprouts scattering the horizon.

Her base of operation was obvious; the only truly flat area on the whole planet, and the red growth spread from there. Her domain was well-concealed, as was her TARDIS. Unlike other people, she learned from her mistakes.

On the 'lawn' sat two rather ordinary lawn chairs, an equally boring table between them. Beside one chair stood the Rani, awaiting her 'guest.'
